Meet Dr. Bryndon Belnap
I am blessed to be in a position to work with so many amazing people. Each person is unique and has something to offer. As an orthodontist, I have the chance to cross paths with so many people with different hobbies and backgrounds and philosophies, and each one makes a difference in my life.
When people leave my office, I want them to know that I genuinely care about them and what is going on in their life, and that my concern for them is never limited to their orthodontic treatment.
There is nothing like seeing the change in someone’s confidence and countenance when they have a beautiful smile. Seeing the change not just in their teeth, but in their eyes, and in the way they carry themselves, is such a rewarding process I am so honored in which to participate.
My Journey to Orthodontics
My life changed for the better thanks to my orthodontist, right here at this very practice, and I knew that I would like to help others in the same way that I was. I was drawn to dentistry and eventually to orthodontics because it is such a wonderful mix of art, science, and health. I get to help people in a way that they want to be helped, and there’s no end to what I can learn and do for people in this field.
Education and Continual Learning
- Idaho State University
- Bachelor of Science in biology-biomedical science
- Creighton University School of Dentistry
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery
- University of Missouri-Kansas City
- Certificate of specialty in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics
- Master of Science in oral and craniofacial science
Orthodontics is always changing. My treatment philosophy is to treat each patient how and when they should be treated. I can’t treat my patients in the best way possible if I’m not always staying up to date with the best ways of treating.
Continuing education enables me to expand my knowledge and experience constantly by learning from others. There will always be more to learn, and I am committed to becoming a better orthodontist every day.

Outside the Office
My wife Tavia and I have four beautiful, smart daughters: Kennedy Kaye, Jordynn Jade, Maddisyn Mila, and Blakely Bryn.
I love mountain biking and cycling, and playing the piano and guitar, and more than anything, I love doing these things with my family. I also like ice cream a lot.
When my wife and I decided to move back to Pocatello, we committed ourselves to being involved in the community. We want to support local businesses, local sports teams, and artistic events. We love Pocatello and want to do whatever we can to continue to make it a great place to live.
